This test adapter interfaces a 4X InfiniBandTM connector (SFF-8470) to 16 SMA connectors to enable the test and evaluation of 4X cabling at speeds up to 12.8 Gbps per channel.

• Fibre Channel 32 Gbs (4 x 8.5 Gbps)
• Infiniband 2, 5 & 10 Gbps per pair
• Myrinet 12.5 Gbps (4 x 3.125 Gbps)
• Serial SCSI (SAS) 3, 6 & 12 Gbps per pair
• Serial ATA (SATA) 3 and 6 Gbps

• 12.8 Gbs performance per differential pair
• Crosstalk less than -40 (1%) at 10 GHz
• Insertion loss less than -3 dB at 10 GHz
• Return loss less than -15 dB at 10 GHz
• Jitter < 3 ps
• Industry standard SFF-8470 4x receptacle
• SMA connectors optimize instrumentation interface
• Calibration traces to zero out test fixture attributes
