The HDMI-TPA-S provides a very high-bandwidth, low-noise evaluation vehicle that enables high-performance characterization of both plug and receptacle HDMI™ devices with bandwidth greatly exceeding the 340 MHz (10.2 Gbps) of the latest v1.3 HDMI specification supporting 1080p at 30, 36, or 48-bit color.
The plug and receptacle test adapter boards included in this set feature ultra-low insertion and return loss with near-perfect signal integrity to assure that electrical results reflect the device under test, and not the fixture.
STANDARDS & COMPATIBILITY
• Compliant with HDMI v1.3 1080p 48-bit color requirements
• 11.25 GHz support for entire v1.3 single-link bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps
• Industry standard HDMI plug/receptacle
FEATURES
• 10.2 Gbs performance per differential pair
• Insertion loss less than -3 dB at 11.25 GHz
• Return loss less than -15 dB at 6.75 GHz
• Trace differential impedance 100 +/- 5 ohms (50 +/- 2.5 ohms single ended)
• Calibration traces to zero out test fixture attributes
* Electrical tests performed on 2x trace with 2" GPPO to SMA adapter cables

** Efficere's HDMI product is tested and specified with 2" cables.
PLEASE NOTE - CTS v1.3 Specification Error
The v1.3 specification released by the HDMI consortium has a part number error as it refers to the Efficere TPA. They list "Tektronix EFF-HDMI-TPA-P" in section 4.2.1.1.6 on spec page 11. Tektronix subsequently decided to not resell the Efficere product. The proper part number to order that product directly from Efficere is ET-HDMI-TPA-P for the HDMI plug to SMA TPA. The receptacle and calibration boards are listed above as is the set which consists of plug, receptacle, calibration, and EDID boards.
